This grand event showcased the literary prowess of our students and served as a platform for unveiling the Department Magazine, "FUMING WHEN SIZZLING WAR AND PEACE IN FRYPAN" We were honored to have Mr. Sreerag PK, Assistant Professor at PRNSS Mattannur College, as our esteemed guest. In 2022, "La Muse" witnessed the unveiling of our esteemed literary club, christened "Poiesis," by Mr. Shivsankar Rajmohan. The session, gracefully led by Mr. Rajmohan, captivated the audience, marking another milestone in our literary voyage.

The Kerala Government's Knowledge Economy Mission is envisioned as a treasure trove of employment opportunities, aiming to provide jobs for 20 lakh people by 2026. As part of this mission, on Tuesday, 28th May, there will be a CONNECT CAREER TO CAMPUS program under the KKEM initiative of the Government of Kerala. This program targets final year (UG/PG) students and candidates who passed out in 2023 from Arts & Science Colleges in Kannur district. The event includes the organization of a "Job Fair" at Taliparam Arts and Science College, Kanjirangad.

The Department organized a quiz program on 15^th November 2022 as part of 69^th All India Co-operative Week Celebration. More than 25 teams participated in the quiz program and Ms. Anjali K and Ms. Sreya V (II B Com Co-operation) won the first prize.

The Department organized a seminar “ Co-operative sector in Kerala in the current scenario- its relevance, opportunities and challenges” on 17^th November 2022 as part of 69^th All India Co-operative Week Celebration. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. P M Ismael (Principal, Taliparamba arts and Science College) and the seminar was lead by Mr. Satheesh Kumar K (Senior Auditor, Co-operative Department, Taliparamba). The first prize winners in the co-operative quiz program were awarded cash prize and memento by the resource person.

On March 13, 2024, the Department of Computer Science & Application at Taliparamba Arts and Science College organized an industrial visit to Mizone Technology Park in Mangattuparambu, Kannur. The visit was attended by 91 students, comprising first-year BSc Computer Science and BCA students, as well as second-year BSc Computer Science students. The highlight of the visit was a session on Startups & Skill Development led by Mr. Subhash Babu K, Director of Mizone, where students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of AI and its significance in today's digital landscape. Additionally, representatives from Btrac Software Company shared their knowledge, further enriching the students' understanding of technology. The visit concluded with a campus exploration, allowing students to immerse themselves in the innovative environment of Mizone. Overall, the industrial visit provided students with a holistic perspective on technology and entrepreneurship, inspiring them to explore innovative career paths in the field of computer science.

The celebration kicked off with an inspiring keynote address delivered by Shaji V Sebastian, a retired Senior Scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Throughout the day, participants engaged in a diverse array of activities designed to promote scientific literacy and stimulate intellectual curiosity.
